Herman B. Post, President
As a young summer student in 1992 Herman worked alongside his father learning the business from the same honest and ethical angle his father E. John lived and created. Today he leads the management team in client relationships, strategic planning, operations and business development. Maintaining a strong connection to the client is something that is important to Herman and important to POST.
Herman brings a wealth of knowledge in the customer segments POST serves from both hands-on business as well as in-field experience. An honours graduate of Wilfred Laurier University at Waterloo in Business Administration, he has served Equine Guelph as a guest speaker with the on-line Environmental Equine Management course as well as numerous other organizations and charities in a leadership capacity.
Within the construction industry, he has served as a director of the Canadian Farm Builders Association (CFBA) for two terms and the Council of Ontario Construction Association (COCA). Herman is the owner of Cox Creek Meadows, a first-class equine facility just outside of Guelph, Ontario.
Bryan Schieck, VP Busines Development
Bryan brings strong sales, marketing and business development experience to POST having worked extensively within the marketing world as well as enterprise level business and energy sectors. In 2006 Bryan started his own business helping companies like The Co-operators and World Vision execute their highly complex, data driven marketing initiatives. In 2009, while much of the business world was in turmoil, Bryan shifted gears and re-shaped his company to focus more on consulting and business development. Investing in a number of initiatives within agriculture, Bryan has become deeply enthused about the sheer scope of opportunity to drive change through agriculture.
While he has been a friend of the Post family for years, Bryan became more deeply involved in 2010 and now proudly embraces the opportunity as a member of the POST team.
