At POST we consider the environment something entrusted also to our stewardship. Therefore we are continually learning and researching methods and products that will allow us to construct  more environmentally friendly processes and also allow our clients to operate facilities with longevity and minimize their carbon footprint.

We are proud to be leaders in researching products and integrating products into our structures. From energy efficient lighting, enhanced thermal building envelopes, recycled materials, and many others we think outside the box and deliver green solutions that suit your unique project.

Consider some the following projects we completed featuring environmental elements:

November 2009

Our office and shop lighting is retrofitted completely under a rebate and incentive program offered by the OPA (Ontario Power Authority) for commercial properties.

October 2009

Home addition and renovation in Mono, ON raises insulation value and home efficiency significantly. Existing home is completely upgraded in insulation utilizing spray foam urethane and Energy Star windows with triple Low-E and Argon gas.

September 2009

Cox Creek Meadows, home of Triple C Stables, a hunter-jumper equestrian center near Guelph, ON opens incorporating many environmentally friendly initiatives including LED lighting in the stable and indoor riding arena! A first in Canada!

July 2009

Completed extensive renovations, restoration and an addition of century stone home near Guelph, ON after incorporating many green concepts. The home was insulated to superior levels complete walls, ceilings utilized a Soya based spray urethane. In addition, the project included a geo-thermal heat pump; LED interior home lighting; Energy Star windows and recycled materials.

May 2009

C.F.B.A. award winning Spirit Tree Estate Cidery, Caledon, ON opens their new 6,000 sq.ft. fruit market featuring straw bale construction rated at R-60 insulation value and geo-thermal heat pump c/w ground loops

January 2009

Indoor riding arena just outside Newmarket, ON features extensive natural ventilation. Complete sidewalls and one end wall feature 48″ operating panels that provide maximum ventilation to arena. The panels can be lowered opening the majority of the building perimeter 4 feet for natural air flow.

September 2008

At a 55 stall hunter-jumper boarding facility for VanBrook Equestrian, Milton, ON featured 4 covered manure compost bin storage designed and constructed to capture heat generated for use in radiant floor heating in the stable.

February 2008

Post Farm Structures Inc. joins the Canadian International Farm Show in erecting on the show site its first “Dream Green Barn” under construction! This project featured many elements such as SIP panels for minimum heat loss and efficiency.
